Community Ambassador/Fundraiser

Role Purpose

Acting as a local representative for the charity, raising awareness and funds through talks, events, and community engagement, focusing on building relationships with local groups, schools, and businesses to support the charity’s mission. Inspiring and empowering the wider community and businesses to support the charity’s work.

Personal qualities

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and professional in their approach. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills and a sense of responsibility for your role. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine commitment to our work are essential.

Main tasks and activities

• Delivering talks to community groups, schools, and businesses.
• Organising or supporting community fundraising events, collections, and challenges.
• Building relationships with local organisations to secure support, partnerships, and donations.
• Manning stalls at local events and acting as the face of Pawz for Thought.
• Sharing fundraising campaigns via social media or local outreach

Key Requirements & Skills

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, proactive and friendly approach
• Dependable and well-organised
• Passion for animal welfare and the environment
