Sugar is a very big Syrian hamster around six months old. He has a lot of personality and likes to do things his own way. He’s very curious and will come to see you in the cage but doesn’t like being woken up. He can be a bit dramatic, telling you through a song if he doesn’t like what you’re doing! He will make a great pet with some additional handling and is a lovely boy to watch.

What do hamsters need?

– a balanced diet. Hamsters are not herbivores and should have a good mix of pellets daily vegetables and proteins such as cooked chicken egg or meal worms
– Opportunities for free roam on a regular basis
