Smudge is a very special little girl with very special needs.
Smudge has urinary and fecal incontinence. Ideally we would like her new owner to have experience of expressing bladders and bowels. A home with tiled flooring or other set-up where her incontinence wouldn't matter would be ideal. Smudge enjoys the catio she has at Pawz so access to a safe outdoor space would be lovely for her.
She arrived at Pawz after suffering some form of accident or trauma. We will never know what happened to her. She was extremely ill and her tail needed to be amputated. She was not spayed or microchipped and we have been unable to find an original owner. After a lot of treatment she is fully fit now, apart from not being able to control her bladder or bowels. We have spent a lot of time on her rehabilitation but she isn't going to gain control again.
Smudge is very playful and she has fully recovered her mobility to be able to run, play and chase toys. She doesn't like other cats and our girl can hold her own when faced with much larger male cats. We've seen male cats flee after they've tried to get into her room! She is a gorgeous girl and deserves to be loved.
