Oliver is a nervous older boy looking for a home to cheer him up.
When Oliver first arrived at Pawz he had a horrendous neck wound. He was a long term stray and someone was keeping an eye on him for over a year. They brought him to us when they saw how bad his neck was. The tissue on his neck was necrotic and needed to be removed but there wasn't enough skin to sew together. He had an open wound for some time but that has been healed for a while now. It's his emotional scars that we're still trying to heal. He is still scared and not keen on being stroked. He does appreciate toys though and we think he will appreciate the comforts that his own home will bring. He has such a sad face and we're hoping he will come around faster in a safe, quiet home. He will need an adult only home with an experienced owner with a lot of time and patience to allow him to come around in his own time. He has no issue being around other cats.
